María Sanz-Ruiz obtained her degree in Mathematics at the University of Cantabria in 2021. One year later, she completed the Master’s program in Teacher Training in Secondary Education. Her Master’s thesis addressed the enhancement of modelization skills through Fermi problems. She is currently a PhD student at the University of Cantabria under the supervision of Dr. José Manuel Diego-Mantecón. Her thesis is aimed at studying formative e-assessment as a learning tool both for students with difficulties in mathematics and for prospective mathematics teachers.
