El Salvador school is located in Barreda- Torrelavega, Cantabria . El Salvador is a state-funded cooperative school that offers education from Pre-Primary to Compulsory Secondary Education to 660 students from 3 to 16 years old. Currently, the school is developing its second Integrated Project of Educational Innovation (PIIE, in its Spanish acronym): “ Motion through Emotion”. It is among the objectives of this project to promote the link between Science and Arts, emotion and interculturality. An Erasmus+ Project: “STEM in action” is also developing in collaboration with Scoala Anastasia Popescu from Romania.
Eva Fernández has a degree on Physics from the University of Cantabria. She has many years of experience in teaching Mathematics and Science in Secondary education. She is really interested in applying learning methodolodies and innovative approaches to promote an inclusive education.
