IES Lope de Vega is a public high school located in a small town in Santa María de Cayón, Cantabria. Students come from different towns around. It has compulsory education from 12 to 16 years old, not compulsory from 16 to 20 years and adult education lessons. In short, the high school offers a wide range of vocational training courses.
Arturo Bravo has a Physics degree from the University of Cantabria. He leads the STEAM project-based learning at IES Lope de Vega. He was involved in KIKS and STEMforYouth projects, developing more than ten educational projects with their students. He also works with teachers’ associations presenting his innovative projects.
