We were founded almost 170 years ago, in 1849, as a public institution providing higher education in technical and economic sciences. More than 21 000 students attend our 7 faculties and two progressive extra-faculty programmes.
Our Innovation Support Centre works had on making science popular by showing how it can be the prime contributor to economic well-being, by making scientists speak with the wider public. By doing so, we hope to raise the interest of young people in pursuing a scientific career.
Together with our partners, in STEMforYouth we will steer the contents of our 7 disciplines courses.
